1 Jan. — 31 Dec. 2026

Since January 2025, La Galerie has been hosting a residency program to encourage young children’s artistic and cultural awareness through oral expression and multilingualism. A collective composed of artist Élise Brion, designers Amine Benattabou and Pierre Klein, and singer-songwriter Virginie Capizzi has developed artistic initiatives in three partner early childhood centers in Noisy-le-Sec.

The artists explored the themes of breath, air movement, and wind with the children, early childhood professionals, and parents, combining their practices of sculpture, design, drawing, performance, and singing. A first presentation of the residency will be on view in June as part of the exhibition dedicated to workshops and educational projects, “Épatez La Galerie!” As part of the exhibition, the collective will present its ongoing research: notes, preparatory drawings, prototypes, mobiles, sound and sculptural objects, audio recordings, lullabies, etc.

A windmill-shaped multiple with an assembly kit is being designed with the graphic designers at Encore un Studio. This object will be given to each workshop participant at the end of the residency in September.
